So Jake's sister keeps her horse at the stable I keep Oliver at, and I was lucky enough to be able to do his senior session. The whole family is just so cool! My favorite thing of this session was Jake's incredible van, it made for some fabulous shots.

Bree came to me wanting a photo shoot for herself. Kind of a present to herself for her 21st Birthday, and kind of just for fun so that she had photos of herself when she was 21. She brought some amazing outfits and out we went! We went to a couple of really cool places, a stable, a river, and a forest-like area. Definitely some awesome locations that are some of my favorites.
While I was in New York this last time helping Ryan Brenizer with his work shop (go check him out at www.ryanbrenizer.com ) I was able to meet up with one of my sisters friends from school, and have a fun shoot. We ended up using him for Ryan's workshop, too, but I went aside with him and had some fun! He works at a clothing store, hence the perfect outfit.
One of those days where I want to post an individual blog for all of my recent shoots, but instead I'll share some favorites from a few, at once. Enjoy!
I had such a fun time doing Haley's senior pictures. She totally resembles Megan Fox, it's uncanny. Do some side by side comparisons or meet this girl, and it's crazy! She rides at the same stable that I keep Mr. Oliver (my beloved) at, and we did the entire session at the stable. Such a perfect place for shots, I think. What prop could one up a horse, anyway?
So I showed some of the more soulful images from my 3 month session with Gunner and his Momma, today I'm going to share some of the more adorable ones, and boy are they adorable. Gunner's eyes are huge and blue, and so expressive!
Catherine is a beautiful music theater Woman, who needed some head shots, and we snapped some fun shots along the way. As always. :) This girl is just too beautiful, when she came over I realized two things, A. this girl is wearing no make up and B. usually people wear a lot of make up for head shots, and usually I'd be scared if someone came to me without make up for head shots, but my goodness she is BEAUTIFUL. See for yourself,
I shot the maternity session of this loving couple when Gunner was still in Kylie's belly. Yesterday I had the blessing of meeting him, and shooting him at 3 months. He was a bit tired and cranky, though we got some adorable photos of him as a lion and candy corn! Aside from the typical cute baby photos, I wanted to capture a little something more. I will most the cute ones in a couple days, but there is something to be left unsaid and simply admired about the relationship between a mother and her child. Something truly only a mother and her child understand, something that remains untouched. I felt like I saw a glimpse of it yesterday, and to me, this is what it looked like.
The other Saturday it was raining cats and dogs here in Oklahoma. Something I've been missing, and wanting lately. Doesn't everyone love a rainy day where they can just snuggle up at home and enjoy themselves? Gwyn has just moved into this quaint little place, and when I went to home for the first time a couple weeks ago, I asked her if we could shoot in it sometime. You know that feeling when you see something you absolutely have to capture. Gwyn is one of those people, and her home just amplifies the whole presence. So on a rainy Saturday afternoon we got together, and we had an incredible shoot. I couldn't have wanted these images to come out any differently.
The other day I had the pleasure of meeting with some fabulous local photographers, Lenin Glass, Chris Odell, and William Chik. We all shot together and had a blast! Here are some of the photos I took of Lenin's beautiful girlfriend, Rebecca. She was not only easy to photograph, but is absolutely beautiful and really versatile.
