I had a fantastic shoot with Mr. Kaleb Bruza the other week, he is into music theater, plays a few instruments, can sing, and well- is just a charmer. We had a blast doing his headshots and some fun shots, I used natural light for some, and my umbrella lights with flash for the others. I prefer them to strobes being a girl, carrying around heavy battery packs and what not is not fun! And changing batteries all the time isn't the most fun, but rechargeable make it so much easier.

Oh man oh MAN this heat has been not fun, and to think, it is only the middle of June. (Can't wait for July and August days upwards of 100 on the daily) For those who are brave enough to bare the heat, I've been shooting at either 7 am or 7 pm, and it's still 90 degrees. Luckily between getting air conditioning between locations and outfit changes, my clients stay beautiful and un-sweaty, to their delight. Posting right now are photos of these two shoots I had over the weekend, Shelby and Hannah. Shelby came to me asking for some photos of her for herself, and Hannah's mother came to me asking for some photos of her daughter and the horse they're leasing, Cowboy. A taste from Shelby's.... And now for Hannah and Cowboy! We did some photos of them riding and jumping in her show outfit, too!
Well, the boyfriend and I went to Chicago to visit family, and for me to do some work while I was there! We literally just got back, so I don't have the photos from that job edited or ready to put on display, but I had Leila and Ian Woods (newly the Woods family!) wedding and a beautiful dancer named Elyse. Elyse is so cool that she is actually going to North Carolina to dance for 6 weeks and show the rest of the US her beautiful skills, and she is a dancer/ballerina at the University of Oklahoma. (WOOO go Elyse!!) Enjoy :) I had a blast doing her headshots and some dance shots!
