Maryland

     Whew! So I just got back from an incredible and life changing experience of 4 weeks. I was a resident assistant for Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth in Maryland. Aside from being surrounded by ridiculously smart 5th-6th graders and a wonderful staff, the entire atmosphere and program in general was very refreshing. Although it is a 24/7 job the weeks I was there, it was still like a vacation in the sense that I was constantly surrounded by truly amazing youngsters. It made me so happy to see the leaders of our future generation and get to be such a large part of their lives as most of them have never been at a sleep away camp ever, or one that is as long or extensive as the program Johns Hopkins has. I went to the area early and spent a few days in D.C. first with my father, which was a blast, too! I took photos of some of my fellow staff members, so I'm going to share some of those now :) D.C. first...
