I'm Valerie Sebestyen, and people [and animals] positively fascinate me. When I'm not photographing, I teach Yoga classes at Yoga at Tiffany's OKC, Body Mindy\ Yoga in Edmond, and Gold's Gym. When I'm not yoga-ing, I'm outside with my Pup or out at the stable with my horse.
In short, you should hire me because I love my job.
I love it because of the people. I adore experiencing and capturing different cultures, age groups, traditions, and personalities of my clients. I always hear about people being nervous before their sessions. You'll feel relaxed after 5 minutes of talking to me, and realize that a photo shoot with me consists of good conversation, laughs, new friends and [conveniently] really good pictures of you.
Concerned or curious?
Ask one of my clients all about their session with me, or guests at a wedding I have worked.
I interned with Shevaun William's and Simon Hurst, and learned a great deal about working with people, the equipment, and the editing process.
I interned in New York City during the summer of 2012 with NYC Wedding Photographer Ryan Brenizer at http://www.ryanbrenizer.com/. While there, he taught me a great deal about negotiating every possible situation that could pop up at a wedding, with grace, and how to utilize my tools to create the most creative lighting, and images.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Photography Arts and Public Relations with a minor in Advertising from University of Central Oklahoma (UCO)
I understand that to show a stranger who you are isn't easy. I spend the beginning of my shoots just getting to know my client genuinely.
